DD 9512 owners come inside...

I've been looking at the 9512. I don't know much about them though. How do they sound at 40 hz? or if anyone has a different tuning how do they sound at that? I've heard some people give them twice their rated power in the right enclosure. I'm just not sure what setup to use it in. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me your enclosure size and tuning, and as well how much power you are running to it. Thanks.

I had a 9512G and had it in a 2.4 ft^3 box tuned to 34hz and i loved it! I was only running it on a 20.1 at the time but it got loud as hell. I liked it a little than my BTL 12 that was in the same box previously. Cant go wrong with that choice. korn4life has a 40.1 on each of his 9512G's and he said they are taking the power perfectly fine.

Well, my 15" is louder than all friggin hell and I'm being conservative as I can be since I have it wired to 0.5 ohm. Dropped it in my box I had built for my Mach 5 SPL and it seems like a great fit!

I see the 3000d. So at .5 ohms, what do you think you are pushing to it?

Can't say... I need to set my gains once again. I've still yet to do my big 3, add another kinetik, and get an HO alt so right now I'm not pushing my luck with the volume knob. All I have right now is a YT and a hc2400, but a rough estimate 2.5k+ easily.

i wouldnt see why it would be weird for one to be as loud as 4 if that is what you're saying
