Anyone have experience with these woofers for daily driving? Do you think 2 of them would out-do a single 18" MT? Both setups with ~2500 watts.

A pair of 15" subs > single 18"

The 3515's will sound a lot better too, IMO

I just want loud to the ear daily driving bass, I don't care about comps at the moment.

Yes they will be louder...more power would work too. I've heard they like 1500-2000 daily over on the DD forum

hmm...how about...

(1) 18" RE MT

(2) JBL 1200.1's @ 1.4 ohms each

(1) Optima Yellow top

Big 3 0 guage

Stock alt

or...

(2) DD 3515's

(1) Kicker ZX2500.1 @ 2 Ohms

(2) Optima Yellow tops

Big 3 0 guage

3515 FTW no matter what way you look at it.

the 3500 series are a badass woofer. you wont be disappointed with them if you hand them the right amount of power and the right enclosure. you must go ported

Yea they will be ported in around 8-10 cubes tuned ~ 33 with a ton of port area. CRX style in the back of my SUV.

Should I try these out over the 18" MT? I think I might.

i think you will be happier with a pair of 15"s

yea, i know a guy running a pair of 3512's and it sounds awesome. ported, way loud and super clean.
