dd 2510 off 1000 watts?

thinking of doing a dd 2510 off 1k in a reg cab pickup 1.5 cubes 26 inches of port 22" long sub behind passenger port out the drivers side.. any thoughts..... anybody use 2500 series of 1K how do they do?

well iam about to find out, the 2510 i ordered gets here to day. i would think it will do 1k just fine. i currently have a 1508 running on a mtx81000d and it seems to do good so the 2510 should be way better.

There's a guy on SoundPressure named LukaQ that is running a pair of 1510's off a pair of M1a's strapped (over 2400w total) with no problems at all. I'd think the 2510's would be able to do 1kw no problem as long as you didn't send a clipped signal.

i can only think that it will have more than a descent amount of bass because the 1508 that iam running now is very impressive and so far has been taking one hell of a beating.

ill post a review when i get it going. i have to work all this weekend and next sat. so next sunday will be when i get the box under way.

fiy-if you get one new, allow some time for it to break in. my 1508 is still loosening up and seems to get louder and lower as time goes.
