2 8" subs versus 1 10" sub

Apologies in advance - I'm sure this question has been asked but I just spent 20 minutes searching and can't find an answer.

I have a 2005 Trailblazer, and am going to do one of the boxes that is sorta tucked on the side to retain most of the cargo space as I'm continually loading stuff up in there. I can either do a single 10" woofer that will fit with about 6" mounting depth and ~.75 c.f. sealed, or two 8" woofers. I have a JL Audio 200w RMS @ 2ohm mono amp to use for this, so this isn't going to be shattering any windows, but I want something to fill out the bottom end of the stock Bose speakers.

The 8s have a low end of about 40 hertz versus the 10's 30 hertz, but have about 25 cubic inches more area, so I don't know which would be better. I don't listen to a lot of boomy rap music, but if the 8s won't even handle something like the bass line of Radiohead's "Karma Police" I don't think I'll be happy with them.

I appreciate your advice, and again my apologies if there was a previously asked post on this topic which I couldn't find.

Thanks
