and to answer your question. if you have the power, i don't know what the 8's would do better than the SXs. aside from saving space.

it seems like your trying to find a way to get the dd 8's louder than 2 12's

if you want the 8's then get them... but i don't see any reason to get DD 1508s over SXs unless space was an issue.

Its not a space thing, I am a fan of both.. I can get a killer price on some 12inch DD 1512's.. and I just wanted to get the most for my money its basically like this..

2 12inch DD 1512's

or

2 RE SX12's for

yea, and it aint out to the public yet I don't think, and if it is, it just came out like in the past few days.

1500 is the series

1508 is a 8

1512 is a 12

1515 is a 15....

calculate that you have the space to put the DD's in the ported box they were designed for, before considering.
