im torn between these two im goona upgrade from my re 8s they are goona be goin into a box its about 1.25 cubes a piece and tuned to 35 hz.. they will be powered by a sae 1200.

I dont know anything about the x8, other than they arent out yet, right? Are there any specs out on the new x8s? They look to be pretty beafy. I really like those 1508s tho, they get loud.

The X8's will be sick. The E8's are sick. Stick with Sundown.

And yes. The X8's will take that power. E8's can take that power.

That does 1200 rms at 1 ohm, right? I dont know anything about those amps. But either way, ive read more than a few times that the 1508s can over 1k each.. The x8s are rated at 400 rms, there is no telling what the x8s can really take until someone has got them and do some testing.

They did a test on the 1200D and at .5 , it ran at 1500

By no means is the 1508 garbage, But with that said, i think people are underestimating the X8. Ive seen E8's take 500 a piece and they are rated at 200 and ive heard of them taking 700. The X8's will be just as nasty.

now i ran across anther option thats about 80 cheaper then both the x8s and the 1508s where i could just pic up anther old school re 8s im so confused and lost!!!! im in a strange place!!!!

X8's or 1508's would be better than RE 8's.

Look into True Bass too. they are sick.

for price and performance the X8 would be a nice choice probably. when they are out

the 1508's are awsome subs though.
