DD 1508 and...? for deck

I should also be getting the 1508 out tomorrow.

just to make it clear:

I had to mod the basket a bit to clear the direct leads, I posted pictures for all to see. I did the recone myself, I put 200 watts to it and all was good.

The deck does NOT come with a trim ring or cage, but has a "new" harness and I am aware of this.

Got the deck a few days ago... haven't tested/installed it yet, won't be until I get my RCA's from KNU...

He got the sub today, damaged because USPS is apparently full of retards. Not serious damage but either way, it was insured, not sure what he wants to do yet. Just wanted to keep this updated...

Hooked it up freeair there is a rattle coming from the sub. Going to mount it in an enclosure to try and straighten the lip Ans see if that helps.

I hope so... I free aired it on 200w and she was good. I am sure once it is straightened out it will be fine.

I got it mounted in a box and it seems to have helped the problem, Not going to sweat it and doing a claim is going to be more then a hastle then its worth. The packaging was great so I put the blame on USPS I know it wasnt the delivery guy cause he handed me the box.

I believe the 1508 and 1510 share the same motor so I will probably just turn it into another 1510 if I can find a matching 1510 basket!

Well, I am glad you are happy with my packaging and I am glad the rattle went away once it was straightened out. Still ***** it got beat up and I apologize on behalf of the USPS morons but I am glad you are satisfied overall.
