So I had 2 DC lvl 4XL 15"s in a 6.2(Gross) with a slot port tuned to about 42 hertz running off a Memphis Mojo 4k. subs and port forward

Wanted to go lower. so i tried a 6.1 cube(net) with two 4" tube ports tuned to 35 hertz on a American Bass VFL500.1. subs on rear, inverted port forward

I didnt care for the way it sounded. didnt move much air. So time to take some other peoples suggestions and swithed tit up to a 5.9 cubes(net) with two 6" tubes tuned to 35 hertz on the VFL 500.1 sub back, inverted ports.

So far it sounds better, but i didnt have much time to play with it last night. I will get some better pics in the daylight, and try to get some vids soon. Let me know what you think.

Thank you David for your help once again.

Dim 16.5H x 36"W x 22"D. Due to sub displacement the box would have been smaller, and since i am still paing on the car i dont want to alter it any any way that can not be undone.

that was the measurements of the box i have now. If i wanted to change the tuning frequency i would have to make the port a lot longer, this would cut down on the space inside the box to i think around 5 cubes. Cause of the design i can not make the slot port extend from the box cause of clearance from the rear deck. The only way i can get it to fire the subs and port forward is to cut down the port to make it MUCH smaller and i woul dstill loose a lot of space inside compared to what i have now.

Last box was 17"H x 41"w x 20" (if i remember right)

never been metered. I am not looking for numbers. Just a ground pounder. I lookined at just makin the port narrower on the first box but once again It will still be a significantly smaller box. I still have It and may play with it. It doesn't take too long to get this box n and out.

Without better photos it's hard to really see anything. Based off of those it looks just fine. Grab a digital multimeter, set it to continuity...
