anybody use these alts im running just 2400 rms stock alt is 130 amps looking at the dc power oem series 185 amp alt how do these preform,just dont want to spend 500 for a 250 alt

they are not that high.. call dc.. talk to kyle.. and tell him Paden said you would make me a deal. You should get it way cheaper then that. but that alt you are looking at is not bad either. DC makes awesome quality alts but the knock on them is how long it takes to get them sometime

looking to spend no more than 300 ill try the oem series its a big jump from the stock

you won't get an xp 250 under 400 and it depends on vehicles. call them and ask them what would work for your power.

I can get an xp for 4 and he posted what hes running above. 2400 watts is not alot at all. the smallest upgrade you can get should be plenty...

how does your voltage hold up on your stock alt with 2400 rms All i have is just a yellow top under the hood

They have never done that with anyone I know or myself. I bought two alternators from them, one for me and one for my girlfriend.

Hell, OP could go with just batteries instead of upgrading his alternator if the alternator isn't already going bad. There are plenty of people that run 3k+ with stock alternators. Hell, I got a buddy that had 21k on a stock alternator with two d3100s and a d5100 battery. I have actually ran 2k on my stock alternator and a deka 9a31 and was fine. But it wasn't fine when I was competing.

I said I have.. im not currently. I got 4 alts... It held up decent.. i would get some dimming if i was on full tilt and hitting some lows. I t was back in the day I had a concept2400 and they were power hogs
