DC lvl4 question

I'm looking at buying a lvl4 12" off a guy, but when I saw it it had a blue logo. He said it had lvl5 soft parts, but wouldn't it still have the red logo?

Long story short, is it legit?

dc 4 subs donnot have the level 5 soft parts ,they can't since the lvl 5 is a 3.5 " coil , they can have the xl upgrades like mine do tho .as far as the cap ,it doesn't matter what color

Alright thats good. He said he hooked them up to a multimeter and they read 1.4 ohms, so maybe they have the xl upgrade? Could I just wire it up like it has d2 coils for one ohm?

the coils are 1.4 ,so you can wire them at 2.8 or .7 ohms depending on your amp
