If you don't know how to set your gains, read a fucking tutorial. The knob isn't like setting an egg timer. Saying that you had it set @ 1/4 doesn't mean a damn thing...

I told you exactly how to solve your problem, dude. Learn how to do things correctly and you won't need advice about basic things that can be learned with a google search.

but yea...sounds like your gains werent set right. hard lesson to learn about setting your amps up right. But if you want to sale that motor LMK through PM ....im wanting another LVL4 motor

And he's right - the gains aren't used like a volume knob - they're meant to match the output level of your headunit; the same amplifier will have different gains in every single different car and every single different headunit. Saying your gains were at 1/4 doesn't mean shit.
