how much power should this sub be able to handle? is an AP 1500.1 to much?, ok so the leads are torn, how can i fix this?

i had my lvl4 15 on a SAZ-1000d. Took it like a champ but i would give it much over 1200.

ok well i have the lvl 4 and the amp and it stopped playing today took it out the ground lead wire on both vc's broke apart the amp's boost was off, and only about a 1/4 gain up

Set the gain correctly and it won't be a problem.
