DC lvl 4 xl vs Sundown Nightshade vs RD alpha v.2

OK wise guys, Ship me a sundown night shade and I will test it against a cactus sounds 18, a mt 18, and a dd 9918, all on the same power, same impedence and everything, all dual .7 ohms. If the sundown subs are louder in a drop in test I will buy them for full retail. I am very confident with my previous tests and this wont be the first time sundown has done far less then my expectations. I am sure it is an alright product for most people daily driving or for bass race, but when it comes to getting the last tenth of a db out of your system I would never go with sundown. I could also probably get ahold of a DC level 4 18" to test, just to add some fun to these tests.

Until you test one you may want to keep the comments to yourself - thats fine if you think that he product is not good, but posting on a public forum like it is fact with NO testing to back it up is a different story.

And again - I don't care if you like the product, but try to get some facts before making statements with no evidence to back them up. If you tested a Nightshade and it was 10 dB quieter than an MT, then by all means post away that it sucked in your setup - but you have NOT tested one.

MT is beaten by sundown???

It is application dependent which sub will do better - as visitor has already posted he has testing that shows vastly different results in different installs.

each sub needs to be tested in its own optimal enclosure to do fair comparrison. i still say they all are very nice subs and can't go wrong with any of the 3.
