so your saying 2 lv 3 10s ported is going to be better then 2 lv3 12s or 15s ported?

typically cone area is king, but the 2 10s ported may match the output of the 2 12s sealed, but i highly doubt it will beat the 2 15s sealed.

Id go SA 12s

Also, IIRC the 10" lvl3 is really the only one I'd want to port since the 12" and 15" models look more like sealed box woofers.

lvl3 is almost exactly the same as a re audio se. so compare to that.

makes perfect sense. there is a difference between loud and good.

the 12s and 15s are less suited for ported applications, so they will not sound as good as the sub more suited for ported (10s) but bc of cone area, will move as much or more air thus being louder.

90% of what will make the difference will be the enclosure All subs you have posted threads about are similar enough that the box will make more difference then the subs in most cases.

The car/amp and enclosure will change everything. There is no way for anyone to say, yes this sub will be lower/louder with out actually trying it in your application.
