Does anyone know how much power they can handle? I know they say 1000rms but are they underrated a bit? Could they handle 1200 or 1500 clean rms?

All day long but you might wanna think about a lvl4 xl for just a lil more money you get a better quality sub.

Already got my Lvl 4's and freaking love them. I run them at 1000rms each now. But may want to do more in the future so I was just posting seeing if anyone else has done this.

Ive seen a pair of lvl 4's 15's powered by a saz-3500 on a daily setup and he has had no issue's with them holding together. Been going for well over a year now.

What part of the sub failed??? 2200 is a good bit of power for sure but it should have handled it with no issue. Possible user error>?

I think he just abused it. He had on an aq2200d wired to 1 ohm and he blew it...smoke comin out of his ports and he tore it apart and the coils was everywhere

Sounds like he clipped the s hit out of it. That is not the sub's fault that is user error. Because I have seen lvl 4's take 2x-3x the rated power and they loved it. Key thing to this is clean power..

Yea i know i heard someone talkin about giving there level 3 1750 watts
