DC Audio Subs

I really appreciate all the input but I have to be honest. Every DC sub I have seen in person has been broken. From what I can tell the motor structures are weak, ( torn spiders - not on the glued seam but in the webbing, Broken terminals and baskets, quite a few with broken dust caps and cracked dust caps and torn surrounds). None of which were actually getting any more than 2000 rms. It seems that very few people over here in oregon understand the concept of amperage draw, so rarely do I see a setup with any upgraded wiring/battery under the hood. Now Im not saying I have seen everything over here but just from what I have seen. I dont want anyone thinking Im running my mouth or anything, its not like that at all. But again I do appreciate the input.

Anyway, I am thinking of building an SPL vehicle out of a 1998 explorer. I am going to do a wall for sure. I was thinking of running 3 six volt golf cart batteries to get 18 volts to the amps and i have a design built for a triple 200amp alt set up that will be chain driven. Already have a 1/0 big three and its ran to the back with two yellow tops but cant seem to stay above 14.4 volts consistently. It only drops to 14.1 but still Im losing power Lol. I am running 2 D9's and will move to four when I do the wall so I will definitely need the power cause I am thinking about four LV5 15's. What do you guys think? Will 4 D9's be ok or do you think two more....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Blow it UP!!!!!!! Wait its still under warranty right??? Hahahahahaha
