db's 8 ohms/2 ohms?

so im going from A amp that's 50rms@8ohms to A amp that's 300rms@2ohms... so I shoud be getting about A

15 db gain theoretically
10*log(power1/power2) = db gain

10*log(300/50) = 7.78db

10*log(200/50) = 6.02db

Ofcourse this assumes a perfect world....so those figures are more of a "maximum" increase rather than a "realized" increase.
