DB Electronics Alternators

How are their alternators. I'm looking for one for my mazda tribute, and found this Mazda Tribute 3.0L HIGH OUTPUT AMP ALTERNATOR 01 02 8259-3: HO-8259-3-200 AMP TRIBUTE DB Electrical Starter-Alternator I haven't found many places that have HO alts listed on their sites for my car, plus that's an extremely reasonable price. Anyone have any experience with their alts?

nvm.. Idk if thats the same ones that were on here.

they are hit or miss. usually miss. all they are are just re-wound for higher amps at higher rpms. you will probably end up with lower than stock amp ratings at idle.

Nothing but problems with the 2 or 3 my buddy has dealt with.. and they hassle him every time he has to send it back because it's faulty. I'd pass if I were you.
