Team Loud hit a 178.

and then Edge Audio hit a 178 (wich is Scott Owens)

at the final round Team Loud did a 171.6(if im not mistaken)

and edge audio did a 178. making Scott Ownes the winner of the Extreme 5+

so technically they are both the loudest cars in the world

it was pretty impressive to watch Team Loud hit 175 for 5 minutes straight tho..

Actually, from what i hear, team loud has that status because they had the louder "back-up" score of 177.9 while edge audio only had a 177.5. ac is about a db or 2 easier than the termlab if you want apples to apples oranges to oranges keep the meters the same

it was on the ac 190 i burp at 47hz. at 47z its .3 stiffer then a termlab. and no one was sitting on my windshield wich is worth .3-.4 so if i would of done it at a dbdrag even 152.6-152.7 and i was running bravox subs not my dds and old less efficient box design. link on bottom is proof of the termlab versus ac 190.

I've been on the termlab and a/c 190.

With my one 10" type-r, truck sealed up, on the dash, here's the scores i did

termlab: 145.0

a/c 190: 145.9

My note is 44 hz. We tested the termlab and the a/c 190 side-by-side in the same car, on the same note, at the same time: the a/c 190 read .7 dB higher at a low note (40-41 IIRC)

The a/c 190 is stiffer at lower notes than at higher notes, but get that note up there and the scores jump WAY up. Either way, in a few different vehicles and notes, the a/c 190 read higher than the termlab every time.

stats? score? and 50 amp fuse i will look into that more when i see some legit stats. i can say this and that but without proof it dont mean a dam thing. pretty amazing if its true. but if i had my mmats d3000.1s one will burp for a cool 3-5 seconds with a 50 amp circuit breaker. and with one a long long time ago i was doing a 149.5 on the dash sealed with bravox sub on the tl as you see on my stats.. how do i know we tried it for shizs and giggles once to see if it would pop it and it did but not right away. so for me to sell my amps and buy the mmats d3000.1s again for 20$ is a waste of time. unless they change the rules back to unstrappable amps then ill take that bet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

As for scores, 148.3 is my best, with a best show score of 147.4

At the headrest with me outside the car.....at 41 hz.....on a 50 amp FUSE....

Depending on your note, most people lose 3-8 dBs going from the dash to the headrest.

well i havent tried ever testing in the kick or headrest let alone anywhere else but the on the windshield like dbdrag rules. and ive had my termlab over a year. bought it from mattj along time ago if you look at my recent post it was like my first post. next time i test ill try it after im done with what else im gonna do. never know with spl i can lose 10 dbs i could gain..
edit oh wait i did try it once in the passenger front seat on the headrest it was actually one db louder. but i dont know what it will do in the driver side.

I find it HIGHLY unlikely that its louder on the pass. headrest then it is on the dash. HIGHLY.

In fact, i've NEVER seen or heard of a car thats louder at the headrest than on the dash. I don't think its really possible unless you build for the headrest. Which, in 99% of cases, isn't possible anyways.
