dB difference between AC mic and Termlab?

Seems like everyone in my area only have Audiocontrol mics so what's the difference in dB?

how they sense the pressure and the accuracy of measurement. Also the calibration and the ability to manipulate the calibration.

There isn't an exact difference. I've seen the AC be as much as 12db higher.

Don't they have to be calibrated? I'm guessing not everyone do huh
