In .7 cubic feet sealed, I would go with the Type-Rs all day. They should be slighlty louder and get a little lower. The db-500 wouldn't do poorly here but wouldn't drop as low sealed and you would probably be pushing it pretty hard with 400rms in that enclosure.

I dunno, I just find it hard to beleive that the LMS-5200 18" is gonna be for SQ.

I must say, that buy 3 get one free deal is very appealing to me. I listen to alot of rock and am thinking about downgrading to some 10s or 8s. 297 for 4 descent 10s, cant beat that

very simple...they are CHEAP!!!

you can get 2 Rs for 1 X's, and the two R's will be LOUDER, granted you have the wattage to pump into them...

SQ is a different story...

and they are not really obsessed about but its true, for the money, the R and the tsw3kspls are hard as hell to beat...for $120-$140 shipped NEW, theres not much that can do better...

tc db-500 = more sq, hits the bass notes with a solid kick.

tested both with 80w mtx amp/250w orion d1200 amp, direct swap.
