I've been stalking the dB-500 page for a while now, and this sub still isnt in stock. Anyone know whats happening? I dont mind waiting, but I'd like to get my sub set up before school starts in 4 months. I really dont want to get the 12 inch version due to space, and because I already have a 0.6 cu.ft box for a 10 inch. For $60 more, do you guys think the tc-1000 is worth it? It looks mostly like the same sub to me, so Im doubtful.
I was also considering the Alpine Alpine SWR-1042D type-r. Looks like a popular sub, but finding an amp to power this might get a bit expensive. I've listened to this sub in the stores, and it seems to fit my needs (although it might be more powerful than I need). I think maybe ill wait a few more months, and if the dB-500 isnt in stock, then get the Alpine.
Does anyone have any other recommendations? I want a 10 inch that will work in a 0.6 cu.ft sealed box. I am mostly a sq person and I dont really turn my sub up to ear bleeding levels (although I might ocassionally turn it up a bit). I admit I do like the deepest bass my money can get me. Also, Id like to keep my budget under $200 canadian(including shipping).
