dayton

Daytons just arent robust enough of a spider to take IB setups....ive tried it with their smaller drivers, and they just couldnt handle it.....however if you're using them for some midbasses for your doors or something, you usually cross them over above 80 hz anyways so the IB mounting in the doors isnt an issue too much.

They really like being in a sealed box or correct volume ported enclosure....at least from what ive found. good luck.

Many people are running the RS subwoofers IB with good results. This thread was about their subwoofers not their smaller speakers and/or midbass drivers.

Jeremiah This will work fine.... I suggest checking into the 10 Inch H.O. the freq. range is lower. I have 2 Myself in a .45 box for my truck. I Am only running one both was way over the top. In this size box it does exellent for rap and great for any thing else.

In the daytons RE series there is the RE -under 100W and RE HO, RE HF -350W-700W RMS. In a box, the HO will handle what ever you throw at it within the 600W range. In the price range don't think you will beat it in sound Quality. In db's it would be real hard to beat.

I do not suggest running any sub. IB unless designed for it.

I was running 800watts daily to my 12" H.O. It took it just fine.

Well, I say daily, but 90% of the time I have my sub turned way down.
