i am looking at the dayton rs subs to put in my trunk IB.

so i was wondering if anybody had any experience with these subs

i heard they work well IB but i wanted to make sure before i bought them

i am specifically looking at the 15" High Fidelity version.

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=295-468

i have the dayton RS tweets and will soon be running 2 pairs of the 7" RS mids in a 3-way setup

so i would like to finish out with an RS sub but dont want to take up my entire trunk with a box.

thanks,

it seems like I have seen someone use them IB

it also seems like one of the "pro" drivers would be better for IB

then again I just might be an idiot.....

EDIT: yah I am.... reading about IB subs choices now...

well the titanics do look real nice but the 15 is more than i would like to spend.

maybe the 12 would work.

i just got a lead on a idmax 10 so i will see how that goes

the question now is what would be better idmax 10 or titanic 12?

they will both be ib and i will eventually end up with a pair of whatever i go with.

IDmax's are good for IB, at least I've seen them used for it

For IB in a musical setup you are looking for a very low Qts (.4 or less, the IDW had .243) and a high Xmax (for IB)....

well the MAX has a qts of .349 and 24.x mm one way so it fits the bill pretty well.

i think i will be happy with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

sounds nice... better than the Dayton

When did they start making a 15" version?!?

Personaly, I loved my 12" RS HO. But I can't comment on it's fee air capability. It did get very loud in a 2ft^3 @31hz box though.
