Has anyone heard the new Dayton Reference Subs. They look nice and have killer black aluminum cones(sorry tired of the raw aluminum look). Also they will be relesing Reference drivers in 4ohms soon I'm told unshielded and geared towards car audio
Haven't heard them.....but would love to. They look like absolutely killer deals.
Lower price point than the Titanic's though....I'd be interested if they surpassed them in SQ (lower displacement, doubt they'd have more output than the Titanics).

From what i see on PE's website, they are 4ohm drivers....
He was referring to the Dayton Reference speaker selection, not subwoofers.

Been talking to PE about the 4ohm mids and the last e-mail a couple days ago said they sould release in a month or 2 at the most

Actually talking about both/ Dayton makes great speakers. Just need to branch out into 4ohm more often!!
Uh no. When he was referring to the "Reference drivers in 4ohm", he was referring to their speakers, which Dayton has been talking about releasing for close to a year.
