I have a regular cab Silverado. I read that the 10" sounds good in a ported box with .7 airspace and tuned to 30hz. What size box would be good for the 12" and how should it be tuned. I plan to get the DVC version of either and I have an Alpine MRX-M55 so if I wire it down to two ohms I will get 550 watts rms. With that amount of power going to the sub and having it in a ported box would I be better off with the 10" or 12"? I mostly listen to rock and I what something that will sound good.

Tuning as low as PE suggests will problematic (long port) unless you go with a passive radiator.
