Dayton HO subs

Anyone have any opinions of these? I searched, and it seemed that only one guy has much of an opinion of them, yet he liked them better than his older XXX. How would they compare to other subs such as my RL-P, etc. They are an awesome price.
Go over to the DIYMA forums, there's more people over there running them, and everyone is happy with the drivers.

I had a TC-9 based driver years ago, but it's been so long, like 5-6 years, that I don't honestly think that I could give you a worth while comparison between the two.

Though, I will say this, if you already have the RL-P, I really don't see a need for you to swap, unless you're unhappy with it, then maybe, but if you enjoy what you have I don't see a reason that you should switch.

EDIT: I came here before going to DIYMA, didn't see that you already posted a topic over there.

I have this but its in a HT setup, Very accurate and gets low if ported. Have 300 plate amp on it but think it can take more.
Thermally, they can handle power. My old 12" HO, thermally could handle power all day long from the 2.2HV, mechanically however, the box it was in was too large, which eventually lead to it bottoming out, and ripping the former in half.
