Well of course but I've gotten so many so called "open box" stuff and it ended up being brand new. Lots of people have bought these with great luck so far. I know when they show up in stock they go right back out of stock. For 70 dollars it is worth it since I planned on adding it next year anyways. Just saves me a bunch of money which living on SSD is a good thing.
