looking at the hf and the ho series,,what would be the the diff between the two other than power handling. they both are around the same price range. or any imfo on the dayton products would be cool,, and yes i read thru the search results

One is designated for more output in terms of spl. The other is designed for higher fidelity sound.

Also the HF takes less power and requires a larger enclosure. The HO is geared more towards car audio.

But now I'm leaning towards the AP Epic 12's.
