Dart Boards

The dart board is hung so that the centre of the bullseye is 1.74m (5'8") from the floor.
The throw line, which is also referred to as the oche (pronounced "ockey")is generally located 2.37m (7'9.25") from the face of the dartboard measured horizontally. This is the recognized world standard asset by the World Darts Federation and is played as such in most areas.

had a customer give me one as a tip. only got 3 dart's tho... it's a really nice dart board, gunna set it up here in the shop..
question. how far away from the dart board is regulation distance??

and i ****...... anyone got any tips on how to throw these shit's stright....
Lol, nope, I could use the advice too, I **** at darts hardcore.

regulation measurements-

center of the bullseye is 5'8" from the floor.

if this is a softtip board, the throw line will be 8ft away.

if this is a steel tip/or bristle board, it will be 7' 9 3/4 "

have fun!!

this would be correct also the 7' 9 3/4" is measured from the board not the wall.. so take the thickness of the board into consideration ..
