My sealed box is leaking a tiny bit around where the wires are going into it. The box and sub are a pain to take out, so I want to seal the outside without taking the sub or box out. I know silicone caulk damges the sub, but I have some of this
http://www.tools4flooring.com/dap-kwik-seal-caulk-p-195.html laying around and am wondering if it is safe to use two little drops on the outside of the box with the sub still in it. I don't see anytwhere that it says silicone caulk so I am assuming it is safe, and it does not have any strong odor at all.
