Due to a problem with application I won't be able to use the Seas L18's I bought. Apparently they just weren't made for my door.

I've been spending 5 days so far looking for a good midbass driver. So far I've considered Dayton RS180, Kicker MRB8's, Dyn MW180, DLS UR6, Peerless SLS 7", among many others, but just can't "pull the trigger" on any.

What I need is something that will play in a well deadened, well sealed door. At this point I'd almost prefer moving away from DIY home audio drivers, and back to car audio drivers...something with a higher Qts (.5+) that was made to perform in doors. I'm looking for good response from 70hz-400hz, though it will likely be played from 80-300hz most of the time...just need that headroom though.

I'd like to try out the Legatia L6's, but I just don't have the money for new ones...I'm hoping someone here has some used ones they'd be willing to let go.

Restrictions: No larger than ~7" OD..I can work with I.D., but 7" outer is all my door panel can fit. Depth needs to be below 3.5".

Cliffs: Read Restrictions above.

I need help! help!!!!!

I left you a reply in your post.

I think they're too deep though. I can't do much more than 3" depth.

How much are you asking for them?

I know some of you guys here should be able to suggest some drivers.

I've found the DD W6.5's are good? No idea how to buy them though, or even price.

Even still...

Man, I don't know...lol. I'm out of excuses. Guess I just don't like the Tang Band name...something about them turns me off. I can't explain it.

Any other suggestions?

I'd like to stay under $150...well under if possible. I don't care if they're used or not. I'd be willing to do $200 if they're VERY good...but I really need to be watching my $ since I'm getting married in less than a month.

ID is 2.8" depth. Link

*Changed my depth requirement...I can probably fit 3.5" using a 1/2" baffle.
