Damplifier Pro question

I bought 15 square feet of this stuff to try out, i want to put it in my doors during my 6.5 component install, its 9 seperate sheets of the stuff, being I have a limited supply what part of the doors would be best to start with? the plastic door panel?

I would use it on the metal of the door first especially in use to help seal any holes in the inner door skin. I think that'd net you the best effect. Might be a good idea to slip some in on the outter door skin before you seal it off as well.

good point about the holes, I didnt think of that does it need a roller?

best to use a roller just to make sure you get the best contact you can, that and a little prep/clean work is just a good idea with any deadener.

the truck is brand new so it shouldnt be too dirty, but I will wipe it down with alcohol

If you are truly going to seal the doors then I don't think you have quite enough.

I would not want to seal the doors until I had done everything to the outer door panels that I was ever going to do. So, I would put my efforts toward the outer door skin first. Then on the inner metal door. But that is about all you will have before you start running out.
