Damp pro review. must see vid

I went through 200 square feet of Damplifier Pro on my last truck and never had a single issue like the one in the video. Maybe it was a bad batch? I wonder if anything has changed with the product to cause the issue. Was this part of a rejected order that was sold at a discount?

i recently installed some damp pro and had the same fkn issues with the paper, but it wasnt all the sheets. and before that i had 20ft^2 and it was fine so idk

I used to read that about eDead.

yeah living in south florida trying to install something with mostly rubber in it, i left it in my garage whilst uninstalling my panels to let it get just right before putting it in. with hot weather and any electronics, if you go from inside to outside because of any condensation there is always a risk, so it just became a ritual.

With CLD deadening mats, you do NOT want to experience a problem like that. Imagine struggling with peeling of the backing and then having the mat stick to something else you don't want, like yourself, the floor, or some other foreign object. Also, you'd have more of a chance of getting cut from the foil struggling with the backing like that.

Weird, I just pulled two sheets from the exact same pack. Tried to peel them in the garage and had the same issue as you. (prolly 100-110 degrees in my garage right now) I brought two other sheets in the house and let them sit for about 15 minutes (78degrees) and whammo all peeled clean. Sure these babies weren't hot when you were peeling them?

I wouldn’t call this one a bad batch but we did have a problem with a skid.

Turns out the trucking company double staked one set of pallets this summer and in the heat, the tactifier tends to ooze a bit. This is the reason that give the butyl it adhesion.

Well the added weight of an entire pallet stacked on top of the other pallet squashed the butyl so much that the tactifier was compressed and stuck to the paper very well.

we had 72 boxes that turned out this way. about 30 of them went out when we realized the problem. The random SQ check we did was fine but the boxes towards the bottom of the skid were effected the most. Since those ones are the last ones to get converted in to retail packaging, they are the top boxes onthe shelf and the first to ship.

Luckily it was the only box that had the white paper. NOt th ebrown paper which we recently changed over too

Turns out that if you put it in the fridge for a few minutes and cool it of the paper peels back just fine.

We contacted most of the people that we though go the material but lots of times we send out boxes for charity or for freebies and don't keep track of where these ones go.

The problem has been resolved after a lengthy talk with the trucking company, but still, it is a major pain in the butt.

If you happen to be one of the people that got some of this material, let me know. I will check the batch and lot number and see if it matches up. I'll replace the material for free and will pay for the shipping charges no problem. Just send me an email.

There my friends is customer service at its finest! Christ, I got ahold of Ant and before my response to him was complete he was already on the forums addressing the issue! ****, I had to recall my last text message when I saw he posted here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Oh, Ant you know I am in the transportation business...no problem with my trucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

So it must be a coincidence that all that claim this pain in the *** paper backing issue must have gotten their stuff from that ONE bad batch? I find that hard to believe. Impossible even.

That stuff should have never went out the warehouse. If you already knew they double stacked the pallets, then that delivery should have received extra QC TLC.

Which leads me to believe that excuse is a full of it.
