weezer had good pop songs in and out during their career. IMO nirvana was good and awesome but i can't hardly stand to listen to them anymore, their music is just too depressing. i think of what kirk did and i just find it pathetic and weak and sad. loved their unplugged album though one of the best made.

Blue Album and Pinkerton were great albums. Anyone with taste will agree. They got popular and inadvertantly started some gay trends but you can't **** with those albums regardless.

Shit they've come out with since, though, kind of crap imo. At least by comparison.

I think this is the right move, it would **** for them if they obscured their real accomplishments with uninspired junk just to still "be a band".
