yea i love it when ppl who dont know what there doing do installs

for example a friend of my calls me up and says i cant get my buddies cd player to work his brother in law put it in, but it cuts on and off....

long story short... they cut the factory harnes... i told them to never let that idiot touch the car again

Installed a CD player for a friend awhile ago, her ex had tried to install it before me. Its a 95 Chevy Cav. He tried to get he radio out with a screwdriver and pry it out without taking the dash apart... All he succeded in doing was breaking the dash, and for putting the wiring harness together he had the wires twisted togher and a shitty job of electrical tape on them.

usually....you can TELL if someone knows what they are talkin about, and if not....quiz them while they do it.

ask them what the white line on the wires mean, or what color the yellow wire does, or what color the remote wire is. Most people....I gauruntee you wont know. They may know HOW to do it, but dont know WHAT to do.

I' mean the guy who installed my hu installed his own stuff (HIS SUBS AMP HU ETC.) and they have been going strong for months now. But i think its him trying to stop me from having a better setup, because we said whoever gets more stuff done to their car by jan receives 200 bucks from the other person:naughty: .
But the guy who installed my sub a long time ago. It was my cousin and he was doing installs a lot, but he didnt set the gains and put my power wire thru the door henge.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif and before i could get it properly done it blew.
