Damaged tweeter in CDT ES-62iset. No clue what tweeters to buy.

I have a Pioneer DEH80PRS (not setup as active yet, will read more about that) with a set of CDT ES-62i. They are hooked up to a Kicker KX 650.4 amp.

I think one of my tweeters is distorting slightly, so I'm guessing I need to replace both tweeters.

If I continue with a passive setup, I have no clue what tweeters to buy. Any suggestions with eBay links?

I'm guessing now is also the time to switch to silk tweeters? Why? I had to EQ all the high pithced frequencies down ALOT because I found it too harsh & piercing.

Call cdt. Excellent customer service. If you have the drt-26s they can change the hard dome to a soft dome for you!

The default tweeter type in ES-62i is silk. The metal domes should not be black and will be slightly shiny in appearance.
