Dam it they totaled it

Everything but a Jap car or a brand new car can total very easily. My car would total if I got smashed like you did in the front. KBB is a bad source to determine the value of a car. My dad's 1988 Lincoln LSC with 20K on it is worth like $1800.....Perfect condition....yea right.

Thats not a lot of damage, as long as the frame and radiator support are fine...

Give it a good look over, intact have a body expert look at it. They usually total cars when the damage exceeds HALF the value no the whole thing...

Hoods at the junkyard and headlamps arent that much. Call your handy buddy and you can knock everything out in a weekend...

To anyone other than a collector, that's probably about exactly what it's worth. Don't know of any collectors of mid 80's Lincolns either. Unless the car is something special, old is old even if its really low mileage.
I was thinking very much the same.

It's almost 20 years old.

It's a domestic non-sports car.

It isn't anything especially.

Regardless of whether or not it only had one mile on the odometer it is what it is. An almost two decade-old Lincoln.
