No u cant ..u need a d2 sub to wire to 4ohm ...if u had 2 d4 subs u could wire to 4ohm ..why dont u just wire it down to 2 ohmI really can't wire a Dual4 sub to get a 4ohm load?
I'm going to have to I guess....can I use Ohm Law an push it a lil? It's a 15" L5 in a zxs1500....I know I know, it's old equipment and funds are not what they used to be SMHNo u cant ..u need a d2 sub to wire to 4ohm ...if u had 2 d4 subs u could wire to 4ohm ..why dont u just wire it down to 2 ohm
Im still confused as to the reason u want to wire it to 4 ohms? Wire it at 2 and set the gains properly and be doneI'm going to have to I guess....can I use Ohm Law an push it a lil? It's a 15" L5 in a zxs1500....I know I know, it's old equipment and funds are not what they used to be SMH
Iv never set the gain before, I usually take my car to a shop an let them handle it. I guess my real question wud be ....Just because the amp makes 1500 dont mean you have to use it.... What is the problem here?
Not very accurate ..its just a ballparkIv never set the gain before, I usually take my car to a shop an let them handle it. I guess my real question wud be ....How accurate is the DMM method?
For what you are doing its good enoughIv never set the gain before, I usually take my car to a shop an let them handle it. I guess my real question wud be ....How accurate is the DMM method?
Semi-accurate enough if you have an amp that puts out, which you do, so dont worry. DMM method on any amps of questionable quality would not be accurate at all.Iv never set the gain before, I usually take my car to a shop an let them handle it.
