I bought some Depo headlight assemblies for my altima a little over a month ago (some of you may remember) Well I went out to my car today, and I was approaching the car from the front, and realized that I could see one of my blue bulbs. I my headlights have those mirror (maybe called projectors???) pieces that hide the bulb kinda, well anyways, one of them came out of it's place and is now sliding about inside my headlight assembly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Bad thing is I don't know how/if I can fix it since the assembly is like sealed?

Maybe I can contact Depo and they can fix/replace it?

w00t, after contacting the manufacturer and not getting a reply, I decided to try to fix it myself. So I took the assembly out and took the bulb out and found out that the piece that broke was not plastic as I thought, but metal. I also found out that the tab that looks like it would just slide back in was broken right at the screw, so I got an idea on how to add some JB weld to it and hopefully get it back together.

Wish me luck

Ehh, got everything preped for the job, just waiting for my dad ( the JB Weld expert ) to finish the job.

I thought about soldering it on, but he said it prolly wouldn't hold, so imma let him do it wit da weld.

Got it fixed last night, but forgot to post. Didn't even need JB weld, all I did was got another piece of metal and cut it and bent it to the right angle and made the new piece extend over the old piece and put a pop-rivet in there. Holds pretty good, tossed the piece that broke since the new bracket would not allow it to fit right.

It's all good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
