ok my friend came to me this morning and said ill give you $100 bucks to get me a system for my truck (00 chevy reg cab) and what ever is left you can have. he also said he didnt car how ugly it looked becuase he wasnt going to look at it as long as it sounded clean. before starting i was aiming at keeping all of the hundred so ispent hours scrounging begging and pleading for old equipment from other people. a lot of it was old stuff thats been laying around for years. with all the stuff i had i put together the system i thought sounded the best. 2 10yo 10 in pyles (of shit) and a tore up 300 watt jensen amp and a LOC i had laying around sounds pretty **** decent for what it is he was happy. so i now have a hundred bucks and 4 8in old *** kicker seris 1, couple holed MTXs, 12in profile baja subs and old 4 channel kenwood, a xplore (lol) amp. i feel a big *** stereo bonfire comming...

for $100, i dont think he shoulda expected anything nice in the first place. but hey, i'd take 100 free for that little effort anyday.

4 - 8 in kickers blue cone say seris 1 across them came out of truck that was sitting around 10+ years so i doubt they even work i might hook them up in my room with a huge box

for $100 new or used, the only thing i could buy is wiring. the guy probably has never had a system, so this is just a start. im sure he'll like it, and start wanting more and then spend actual money on something better. at least thats how it happened with me.

Yeah, My friend wanted a system but he wanted to spend less than $250. I found him a 12 Type R on eBay for about $110, and a Viper 400.2 on ikesound for $120. $230 for a sub and amp that will sound really nice in his truck. I am also giving him all the wiring he needs and building him a box. All he needs is a LOC.
