Cysts under arm after tick bite?

I got bit by a tick 3 times under my right arm about 2 weeks ago, ive had 2 small cysts which formed a head and i popped them, nasty.

Anyway, now i have a massive one under the skin, about the size of a golfball i think. Hasnt formed a "head" yet. Feels like its attached to the muscle or something, because the skin moves some over it. Its really hard like a tumor or something, I think im going to take a syringe and stick it in it and see what comes out, but im going to go to the doctor first. The other 2 were pretty much ontop of the skin. I popped the bigger one, and used needlenose pliers and pick tools to remove the sack. That one has healed fine. The small one i just popped and drained.

Im trying to figure out what it is, my brother went with me to the place where we got bit by ticks and he tested positive for rocky mountain spotted fever, yet i have no symptoms of anything other than the cysts. They formed right under each bite, not a coincidence i dont think. Ive never been bitten under my arm though so im not sure if its normal or not. Anyone ever had something like this?

If i do pop the massive one, im going to take a video. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

NASTY.. we dont want to see... and why are you posting on a car audio forum??? go to tthe doctor... people on here barely know about car audio let alone case studies

You should probably get that looked at, especially if the ticks in the area were carrying something.

Ticks can carry very infectious diseases.

On the other hand, cysts are a pretty common occurrence. It might just be coincidence. Regardless, go to a doctor.

Doctor here..... a tick has to be attached >72 hours to transmit Lymes or RMSF....you probably got a secondary staph infection.. from the bite itself. Infectious disease journal (2009) 95% of ANY abcess lanced, drained and cultured will turn out to be MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus)....come to Auburn, Al.. I will drain it for ya and put ya on antiobiotics...

An interesting fact about ticks is that if a tick that carries Lyme disease bites you there is no risk of disease transmission during the first 24 hours. Basically the key to prevent contracting Lyme disease is early tick removal. One study showed that if the tick is in you for more than 48 hours the transmission rate of contracting Lyme disease increased to 12.5%, and at 72 hours it's increased to 75%.

Less than 72 hours, the transmission goes WAY down... I doubt they were attached that long...

Anyone else think it may be related to using needle nose pliers and picks to dig into his skin? Doesn't exactly scream sanitary.
Didn't think of that! Maybe there was AIDS on the pliers(on account of being used by a ********** to please herself) and you got a big AIDS pimple in your skin.
