Sorry to sound like a newb but WTF is that cyclone? I mean I kinda figured out its a subwoofer but........how? I mean like how the hell does it work? It looks like a **** fan lol.

Not really a subwoofer, its a low frequency pump. By itself it sounds like ****. You blend it in with a solid front stage in SQ to make your bass sound like its coming from the front of you and not being able to pin point were the bass is coming from, The cyclone requires a very big sealed box 2.0 or 3.0cf after displacement.

I have 2 of these they are very unique and very hard to find in working condition, This unit will require regular maintenance and cleaning as the motor structure "magnet" flakes off over time rather its being used or not, the neo flakes cause the vein (the part that creates turbulence) to grind. Very easy to do and only have to do it 1 time a year if used alot or whenever you start to feel the vein starting to get stiff and make grind sounds.

Well worth the money but be warned this is not going to be a loud subwoofer like a FI or an Audio Que subwoofer this only requires 150rms to use 300rms TOPS.

Its all about blending and Image!

i have been approached by a few interested in buying my Cyclone in other forums. i will direct them here for you.

the Cyclone requires some good midbass up front since it isn't "punchy". most successful installs had 8's up front to play from 50Hz and up. it's silky smooth bass with ultra low frequency response. it requires a large enclosure. mine will live it's life as a Home Theater sub.

this is the impedance curve

i appreciate that.

i actually intended to dedicate most of my project car's trunk to the 'clone. however it will likely be another couple yeaqrs before i get it on the road and want to put any equipment in it
