right now i have a cvr 12 runing on about 250 watts in a 2.25 ported bow tuned to 38 hz. im looking into the re se 12 running on about 600 watts in the same box. would this be a really big upgrade in spl from what i have or should i just give the kicker 400 watts and save the money. or throw out everything and go with the type r:rolleyes: i need some help in deciding what to get next im not really satisfied with what i have i want a little more spl. any input is welcome.

dude take it easy. not everyone can reply right after you post. give it a couple hours, not ever 10min. someone will eventually come around and reply. i just recently put my 12" se in a 2.3 cu ft tuned to 32hz running 800wrms daily. it sound amazing. i think i read somewhere that the se's dont perform too well after 40hz, im not quite sure. ill let a more experenced person take that on.

how does a da 1100d at 4 0hms about 425 watts sound. i think this amp upgrade should help. right now i have a mtx 421d wired at a 4 ohm impedence so it is about 200 watts. could i wire the mtx amp tp a one ohm load even though it may not be stable.
