I would go with Tool, I like there very long slow begginings to songs, and also when they get harder they are very good. I dont like what they sing about though.

Disagree. I personally prefer the lyrics/song meanings used in Tool more than I do APC. I'm still a huge APC fan, but the lyrics for Tool are a little "darker" and a little more abstract and complex in meaning IMO.

Overall, I like Tool's musical style and lyrics better than APC. But they both kick ***. APC is great, but Tool is where Maynard's true genius shines.

I will agree that he is very intelligent. But I am sure you would agree he really doesnt have a whole lot of good things to say about Jesus. I LOVe their music though, I think they may have some of the best musical ideas out of all of the rock bands today, in a catagory of there own.
