hey everyone, i was just wondering....

I have a 2000 Chevy Impala, which for some reason has an amplifier in the trunk,.? anyway we took out the dash and stereo and were going to wire an aux cable to the stereo, just messing around. We cut a purple wire and suddenly my speakers got louder...?!? i was just wondering what this purple wire is and how my car's speakers are able to hit harder with the bass and are overall louder then what they were...

Thanks for anyone who could give me answers

Restarting the phone every 1-2 days is a plus too. My moms phone is useless by the third day of not restarting. As soon as it's restarted it's fine.

Yeah, it's what I thought it was, but I wanted to make sure it was actually that. I'll get to fixing it when I have the time soon. Thank you guys
