I'm sick of the rattling dash board. I get a rattle from the dash right infront of the passengers seat, as well as the A-pillar. Im gonna try to go find where it is tomorrow and deaden it. anyone got any suggestions of what to take apart? Should I put dynamat on the piece that covers the speakers in the dash, just not over the grill part?

I've got an 89 Cutlass Ciera.....basically, all my screws surrounding the dash were not as tight as possible and the rattling got pretty bad. I just bought new screws, put them in as tight as possible, and the rattling pretty much stopped. As far as the pop-off grills, sound deadening would probably work. Just double it up at the top and bottom so it weighs it down as much as possible.

OK, I got most of the dash good. Now the A-Pillar. The drivers side is loose and rattles, the passengers side is fine. The thing is, I can't find a **** screw in the thing. Does it snap into place? Should I try to glue it or something?

Do you have a pic of what part of the A-pillar is rattling?

i had a cutlass till last month and it never rattled in the dash. Only the trunk. but be care full takin it apart put everything back perfectly the same.

It's not one part, its the whole thing. It's all loose. And it extends all the way back to the rear windshield, its one long piece with no screws.

ive got an 83' cutlass......my dash board rattles somewhat on the passenger side.......but the parts where the screws go are kinda broken from super hard shifts.... im just gonna stick some rubber matting behind it....try and kill it some................my mirror rattles like a son*****........u can hear it outside the car..........the only real rattle......
