I also have a 1080P Samsung but it's not a plasma and to me it looked better with HDMI then it did with the HD components. I'm currently having to run mine with components since I had to use the 360's HDMI cable to connect my AV receiver until my new HDMI cable arrives and I can tell a difference in the way it look's.

And just a FYI GearGuy2001 flashed my dvd drive for me so I could play backed up game's and it has been working flawless. Not to mention it took maybe 1 1/2 week's including shipping to get it to him and back to me. He has also put up with any and all stupid question's I have asked him about it. Oh and he also fixed my wireless controller problem. It kept losing the connection with the controller and he found the problem and it has worked flawless since. Great guy to deal with so don't hesitate if you want to get something done to the 360

I have a samsung 1080P LCD. My 360 doesnt have HDMI though.

Components look good enough for me.

i loved my flashed 360 till i got banned in the first wave of firmware bans (Crackdown/Halo3 Beta), then it quit reading any backups after a while, but it was the crappy hitachi 47dj drive not the samsungs

ive read using 12v fans will also get you banned, you have any problems with those?

and yes there are adpaters that let you use hdmi on older consoles, it even coverts to a digital signal

they even make an adapter to use a wired 360 controller on ps3 and vice versa

i used to use blackcats-games.net but it wasnt working the last time i checked, they are just torrents, i used to have every game released up until lost planet then i just got the good ones, you can pm me if you have any ?s, you have to have a speacial dvd writer too, something to do with booktype settings but i used the pioneer 111d and it worked great. oh and the burning program i always had good luck with was clonecd

some games are region free (all EA games are region locked) but look for USA releases, download it, extract it, burn the .dvd file with the layerbreak onto a dual layer dvd using clone cd and a compatible dvd burner and your good
