I just bought this from TeamPSI not too long ago. I bought it randomly and i was stupid to because I need a 10'' to fit where I want it to go in the new car I'm buying.

These have been made using VERY heavy duty Dual 2 ohm flat wound aluminum voice coils, dual linear 8" spiders, a VERY strong cone assembly, black 4-spoke baskets, and carbon fiber dustcaps.

These should be good for 1200+ wrms.

I'm asking $250 + actual shipping. Guessing it's 16''x16''x16'' box and the shipping weight from when it was shipped to me was 40lbs.

It has about 30 minutes of play on it to test it out to make sure it was in good working order, which it is. It will come in original shipping box which was a very nice looking crate made out of plywood and lots of foam.

These are the pics I got when I bought it. The cone is absolutely immaculate and is uber-beautiful. The magnet has a few scratches and etc but nothing at all bad, this is EXACT CONDITION THAT IT CAME FROM TEAMPSI. For those of you don't know, he is from RE, he knows what he's doing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I'm coming from 2 12'' RE SEs ported so going to this single 12 sealed its quite a bit quieter than SEs were. However it does sound better I believe, which is saying a lot compared to the SEs. The low end on this is awesome as well. I think I'm buying a fast car and I can't have a system slowing me down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

this may sound noob-ish... but after seeing the video of this subwoofer moving... without an enclosure to control its excursion... couldnt that be potentially damaging to run it "free air" with no resistance? A sub in the open air like that will sound like a fart... there is no seperation of the conflicting sound pressure created by the front or back of the sub.

Just curious... Nice looking sub anyways.

wrong. freeair produces no noise. it completely cancels out. not seperationg AT ALL between front and back waves, producing nothing but mechanical noise......which there shouldnt hardly be ANY. also...its not damaging because that is (being fair) probably on 100 watts or so.

Right.. I barely had the volume knob up when I had it free-air. It's definatly easy to blow a sub if you're pushing it full tilt when it's not in a box.

A ***** it is.. a cute ***** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

If someone wants one, I can get one made exactly like this and sell you a pair //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
