custom sub??

I was contemplating buying Bostons SPG555ps....their oval sub in a ported box, but I've been advised to go for a custom sub. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good site for custom subs and a matching enclosure? I'm looking to accomplish one 12' and the enclosure for 600 or less.

for a custom sub you need to find a good used motor and then it can be built. pm meifur interested...

SPLaudio, SSackett, Team PSI (fixmyspeaker.com), and Haunz all build subs. There are more people as well but i have personally delt with SSackett and he builds a great sub for an even greater price. im sure the others are similar though.
